A Lords of Vice Novel

Ah but the tangled web we weave when trying to live two lives built on lies

Catherine Royles may be the illegitimate daughter of the Ton’s elite but her pseudo parents were much worse than any child should have to endure.  Catherine rose above the pain and humiliation to start a life to scandalous no one could ever suspect she was the mysterious Madam V, brother owner.  Simon Wyndham Jefferes, Marquess of Sainthill who went by “Saint” but he was anything but.  He lived his life with the other Lords of Vice causing hearts to flutter everywhere they went.

Yet Saint was drawn to the mysterious Madam V the moment he first saw her and though they both had other lovers, the chemistry was undeniable.  She was not one to tell tales and always hid back one mask or another.  Saint was not going to be deterred even though they went years between encounters.  Madam V knew how to keep a secret especially the one she had about herself and the identity she concealed.

No one seems to want them together especially visitors from Catherine’s past that never go away including a father she never wants to acknowledge.  Saint is an obstinate man used to getting what he wants and even though she appears to be, a jaded brothel owner Saint knows the heart of her beats with another soul.

This series continues to play out with one stunning adventure after another giving reader’s new stories to enjoy and characters to enjoy.

  9. Hi Mary -

I hate to admit it but my vice is impatience!

I think all of us have had those moments when we're trying to reach the right extention on the phone to get a question answered will have had times like I have. Think about it. How many times have you tried to find out information by a company and been reoeatedly transfer or told to "click" another number before finally being put on hold and when you FINALLY think a "real" person will finally pick up your call your are disconnected!

So I'm impatient and I don't like it one bit. I want to be a kind person and understanding and I realize it's not the pour employees fault but instead what we as consumers have been forced to except by the "person in charge".

The last time I finally got through of course the poor person who answered had no idea what the answer was. My new approach is when someone finally answers I ask for the "smartest person there". Unfortunately THAT person ususually doesn't have the answer either!

I'm fighting it but everytime I pick up the phone to make that call I know I'll once more be impatient while I'm waiting for that person to answer the phone and "help" me!

  15. I haven't read this series yet, but it sounds like a story where two people with their own issues come together and have great strength together.
